This development was established over two decades ago to create a community where residents act as stewards of the land. Las Fincas de Escamequita consists of 57 lots divided into two phases. Phase 1 is accessible by a 15-minute drive south of the town of San Juan Del Sur, reaching the summit of El Socorro Hill. Phase 1 has a couple of parcels over 4 acres that would be perfect for someone wanting to create their own homestead on acreage.
To access Phase 2, continue south and turn left (east) at the baseball field in Escamenquita. This quaint community is comprised of only 30 lots. The lots range in size from .5 acres to 2 acres, giving each homeowner space to build their oasis. One of the truly unique features of the community is that each lot has an ocean view. The vastness of the view depends on where the lot is located in the community. The community has several dedicated green spaces that not only enhance the aesthetic of the community but also serve as a natural thoroughfare for animals.
